Creative Resource Manager
The Role
The Resource Manager is responsible for the smooth, effective management and tracking of all projects running through all 9 StudioX global locations. You will therefore be able to allocate teams according to priorities such as pooling teams and running a creative sprints on “Wildcard” projects or finding extra support for an OU when they're lacking resource.
Balancing commercial objectives and creative workflow you’ll support and police processes to deliver best practice without losing sight of the creative output. Not fazed by the changing requirements of projects, you are able to adapt and deliver effective solutions whilst working closely with team members such as Business directors, Project Managers and Creatives to resource clashes and solve resourcing conundrums.
Working closely with the StudioX CCO, you will be managing the time of designers, editors and creatives working alongside them as well as other TCCC category teams and our wider pool of creative and production resources in the 9 StudioX locations. This individual requires the ability to develop strong and trusting relationships at every level and strong collaborative skills with COO and the Ops leads in the 9 StudioX locations.
You’ll need solid experience as a Resource/Project/Studio manager in a creative or similar agency or in-house environment.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for resourcing the entire studio, working closely with the Account/Project management team to ensure seamless communication
To be the first point of contact for all creative resource requirements, including assessing current work allocation and finding the right people with the right skills to do the job
Proactively highlighting available resource that is under-utilised and seeking out projects for them to work on
Providing regular reporting to the Leadership team on utilisation and capacity within the team
Suggesting ways of improving the process
Use resource management software (tempo) to allocate and manage briefs, championing our workflow process (through Jira), and training colleagues on its use
Daily check-ins with the teams to ensure that what should be happening is happening
Managing weekly resource meetings with the relevant departments and department heads
Having a good knowledge of all skillsets and personalities within the studio, which in turn will allow for better resource allocation
Identify clashes/ resource problems and delivering solutions and efficiencies going forward, escalating where needed
Ensure utilisation and timesheets are recorded correctly and are up date
You will support with New Starter onboarding – liaising with IT, HR and finance to ensure key new starters are set up correctly

Business acumen to understand how creative workflow management affects the bottom line
Key Skills
Working knowledge of a creative studio in an agency (or in-house agency) setting
Strong knowledge of integrated creative resource skill sets
Proven expertise and ability to drive accurate resource planning, utilisation & forecasting
Ability to build strong, strategic partnerships - preferably up to leadership level
Proficient in using resource planning and project management tools, MS Office
Background working with a globally distributed team would be an advantage
Experienced working in a hybrid model (we will have studios in Berlin and Madrid but will also have a number of people working remotely)
Background on working in a multi agency setting is nice to have but NOT essential
